Our Spring Recreational Coach's Meeting will be Tuesday February 28th from 7:15-8:15pm at the South Lakes Event Center. This is located at SW 119th st and Meridian in the South Lakes park (east of the game fields).  Turn left into South Lakes Park off if SW 119th and drive to the back of the park, the event center is on the left.  Parking can be found in front of the event center and by the competitive/academy practice fields.

SLSC “Head Start” Program

 The SLSC Head Start Program is designed for all recreational players at any level.  The Program is offered by the South Lakes Soccer Club to increase the technical skills of its participants while keeping things challenging and fun.  These hour long sessions will challenge players to take their technical skills to the next level.  Players will be sorted by age and ability.  They will primarily be in these groups for the duration of the program.  Coaches will be rotated throughout the groups.  Specifically, they will work with the players on ball mastery, fast footwork, juggling, dribbling, dribbling to beat an opponent, dribbling for speed, passing, shooting, receiving, etc. 

 This program will allow players to continue to play on their team of choice while getting additional training that will help them take their game to the next level.  This program will also offer coaches a great opportunity to have a professional staff work with their players and can be used as a practice for the entire team.  Coaches are encouraged to attend, take notes, ask questions, and take ideas back to their teams on a regular basis. 

 Spring Season Head Start Program- March 2^nd through April 27^th (8 sessions)

 Sessions will be held on Friday nights from 5:45pm to 6:45pm at the SLSC complex.

SLSC “little cosmos” Program

The NEW SLSC “little cosmos” Program is designed for 3 and 4 year old players interested in having a good time and being introduced to the best game on the planet.  The sessions will focus on foot-eye coordination, balance, and having fun.  The sessions will be 45 minutes long each week and the program will run for 6 weeks. 

 The program will be available to players with a birthdate in the range below:

August 1^st 2007-Jan 31^st 2009

 Spring Season “little cosmos” Program- Begins March 16^th and will be held on Friday nights. (March 16^th, 23^rd, 30^th, April 6^th, 13^th, 27^th) Sessions will be held from 6pm-645pm.

 The “little cosmos” Registration Fee- $45 (This includes an official “little cosmos” T-shirt!)
