South Lakes Soccer Club is excited to announce some programming changes for our U5-U6 Boys and Girls.
Teams in the U5-U6 age groups will be allowed to practice on the game fields! Teams will have a designated field number and time slot during the season. Each session will be scheduled on Saturday with an occasional Sunday if necessary. After each training session there will be a short rest period, followed by a league match. This will allow teams to train on the field they will play games on, including goals/lines, correct space, etc.
Teams will train once per week for approx. 30 minutes followed by a short break, then a match. (4-8 minute quarters)
Our Recreational Director will also be on-site during training sessions and games to assist coaches when needed.
SLSC is excited about the changes to these age groups!
